Product description
Introducing the Maru Shin Copper Yukihira Nabe pot, made in Japan. It is a deep pot (85mm) with a diameter of 18cm, made from high-quality copper.
Yukihira Nabe, also referred to as Snow Flat Pot, is a must-have in the Japanese kitchens. Known for its durability and excellent heat conductivity, this pot is perfect for various cooking tasks.
Yukihira Nabe by Taniguchi is a single-handled pot characterized by a simple design with a spout and handle. Originally referring to lidded ceramic pots, modern Yukihira Nabe has evolved into a metal version, popular for its versatility.
This pot has been made with copper and handle knob with natural wood. Copper makes the pot durable and long-lasting. It also comes with easy to read markings to show the amount of food in the pot. Suitable for use with gas stoves only. There is no copper coating on the inside.
The distinctive feature of Yukihira Nabe lies in its hammered surface, resembling snow pattern, hence why the name Snow Flat Pot. Its continuing popularity is attributed to its user-friendly design, making it suitable for a wide range of culinary tasks.
The included handle needs to be inserted deeply with a soft-headed hammer such as a plastic or rubber hammer, and when it is no longer wobbly, it needs to be secured with nails.
